Those rolls are not that uncommon btw. You just buy a fractured life base and then dense fossil spam 10-20x and you have triple t1.... the real OP thing is gaining %life on block setups with this. And then you run shrines xD a massive shrine is nuts

4:00 No, you're not in mirror-tier territory, not even close. Especially considering that you could use a base with 26-28% quality and ditch the life roll for Triple T1 ES mods. Those items are not hard to craft at all. Boots are a slight exception where a prefix has to be fractured.

I think that evasion + es gear would be the play here. Yes, you loose a lot of raw life but it's still quite high with the new bases and you can add suppression. Also, evasion can help you a lot if you choose to play with dissolution of the flash and if not, you can use iron reflexes for physical mitigation

I think it's a good idea to talk about this in terms of ES only. As you could use Kaom's with Maxroll Life on all other pieces of gear. >> so if you factor in just the ES. It's still getting more than 1000 extra life from the ES conversion, at 1405. Which compared to kaoms 1100 with heist enchant. >> Is considerably better. But thats only with perfect t1 rolls. Apostate is still better than kaoms with good gear mind you, but I don't think it's as big of a disparity as someone might be lead to believe. Though if we factor in the fact that it can have sockets, and then we put on Untouched soul... Now things get a little crazier...

You get free 15% life from Life Mastery because Apostate has no life modifiers too, have to take that into account

i used the dissolution of the flesh + apostate tech to enable a pure phys reap/exsanguinate self-cast berserker. it uses a lot of items that have energy shield on it like ravenous passion or maw of conquest, the spell impale gloves and rathpit of course which would all be wasted with dissolution. the apostate converts all of that into life which is what i want to stack as high as possible anyways effectively working as a ~700 life body armor with some resists, a good amount of strength which i want to stack as high as possible too and the full 6-link which i need. its very good indeed. and i am very glad that i bought my well rolled apostate before it got any traction :D (but the build is on hold for now because it is crazy expensive to get going :( )

So energy shield base + life vs es eva base + life with fractured spell suppressed roll. Depending on how it goes the second option can end up just being better overall if the build isn't able to stack endurance charges but gain decent spell suppress. Would need to pob the total survivability tbh.

I'm not thinking about how this can be leveraged - Trickster/Assassin Flicker Strike with Bloodthirst support? Great Evasion and ES bases, semi close to Versatile Combatant for 65% block cap on both spell and attack - Warden Melee? Barkskin + Dissolution should be great combo + some evasion (kinda easy to get 95% evade chance). Tinkture + Bloodthirst should also be amazing on Bow build (notice that Bloodthirst mentions attack skills, not attack melee skills) - Berserk STR stacking with rage? Dunno, but sounds synergistic - I recall there was Phys wand marauder builds, that might benefit from Bloodthirst too i kinda looking at Bloodthirst Support more now, with Melee changes that we have in 3.25. It might be good option now (Reap? Maybe)

It can work in that build but it's really hard to use the apostate when you give up one of the armour items that would give a bunch of life(in the case of that build, it's the crest of desire helmet). I think if you lose one of the slots, there are better options to use instead, you basically need all of the slots to get the most out of it because the body itself grants no stats of its own

you might think it is buffed, but it's not...😂 i have been playing the life-stacking builds every league since 3.19...damage has not been a problem since it had been introduced to the game... the main problem had been the survivabilities for these types of builds , but the "buffed" block you mentioned, doesn't really make you feel any difference from before. (for the problem wit the builds was revolving around t17s, not ubers. ubers, we killed them with ease)

So to have a ton of life, you have no defences with no phys damage reduction sources as you have no armour and are not using something like Lightning coil for 50% reduced Phys damage taken by itself I feel like you'd die a lot to phys damage using this as you'd be taking 100% physical damage right? At least with the Kaom's heart chest you get the life and keep your armour

That's the design of the item yes, if you build it correctly you end up with 5-6 times the normal life of a character. Life is your defence

Very true, but a good nerf imo, it's less of a surefire thing for most endgame builds. Personally I didn't use the adorned in my lifestacker last league but I had considered it for late prog

Only energy shield from equipped Armor items will be converted into life. Your examples are ES-only items which is incorrect. Items must be on ES-armor base, not pure ES

This is incorrect. The modifier which states armour items is not referencing armour the defensive stat, but rather armour the item class(boots, gloves, helmet, body armour, shield)

Going from around 8k life to 12-13k unfortunately isnt worth losing all your armor and chest slot even if you are lowlife with bloodthirst support + voidforge, and spell builds easily get 12k+ es without this so...😂

Idk about 12-13k hp, I managed to get 17k hp last league while using a coil for body armour before the life mod changes. If you're using the apostate, you should be aiming for at least 20-25k+

There's a few problems with what you said: 1) You can't compare the Apostate from this league to previous league due to all the buffs you mention. The only fair comparison is to Kaom's Heart 1000 Life. 2) You shouldn't add the life rolls into your calculations because the Apostate does nothing with those life rolls. You get the same life from those pieces no matter what body armour you wear. So your extra life from the Apostate only counts the extra ES you have, which is 199+317+468+240=1224. 3) Let's compare that 1224 to Kaom's Heart. If you used your prefixes on gloves, boots, and helmet for the Life + % defense rolls instead of ES rolls, you can get an extra 28+28+33=89 Life at max rolls. So you're looking at 1224 Life vs 1089 Life. Of course, Kaom's also allow you to have defense in armour/evasion/ES as well, but no sockets. 4) Kaom's 1000 max life is very easy to get, but to even get to 1000 max life from Apostate requires really great (although not mirror-tiered) gear. You're looking at 15c vs 15 divines.

Kaom's heart isn't really a good comparison though, because you're incentivised to use different items with either setup(pure es gear for the apostate vs a way to solve having no sockets using kaoms). This video was simply showing how much flat life you can obtain from those slots, nothing more.
