This awful pretense that they've suddenly done well is SO irritating. I agree with +bennythebearful is right. They choose candidates who will make the audience feel better about themselves, AND who fit the current beauty ideal. Nick is the only one who has shown himself to be a reliable and talented candidate. I am shocked by the silly people who are taken in by Tom's showmanship. Smoke and mirrors people, smoke and mirrors. He has some good qualities, but many poor ones.

+MissJessyeNorman I did feel this year was slightly less embellished though I remember feeling embarassed watching last year the Series 7 final five because Natasha and Tom they really had to work hard to spin a couple of tasks where they shone. I do agree that Tom was overrated I felt he really let himself down on the wine task where he left the others to do the work
