It's a simple event, I mean, I didn't expect them to make a whole freaking update for April Fool's especially after we got a huge update with MMO style lobby plaza that allows for us to interact with just about anyone online. People just expect too much from this game. While I did love last year's Dating Sim (I never played original Shroomie event). This small event was generous with 4 icons, 1 title, 1 illustration, 5 cutscenes, and 4 free songs for your kingdom background.

The idea very much was to be a low effort looking one, but after all, they had partnered with another company for last one's and had it begin before April Fools and stay for around a month. It was more of a whole story and gamemode masked as an April Fools joke. It is understandable they can't do it every April 1st.
