I have the 380 and the 400 (XP). I also have the whitetail hunter str pro. I love Barnett crossbows. Though the only complaint I do have has nothing to do with the crossbows themselves. Its the quiver. Its almost impossible to get the arrows in and out of it. I had to trim the slots. Works perfect now.❤

I just ordered a Barnett XP 380 last week. It has the same 165lb draw weight but as the name says and according to the description its suppose to somehow magically have 10 more fps? I settled on the xp380 because it was the only one at basspro that had aluminum rails and was under $400 and i had a lot of club points burning a hole in my pocket. Every crossbow should have aluminum rails if not just for the reduced friction then the longevity increase alone. I dont have a chronograph to test but im pretty sure its just gona be this crossbow in the video with lighter bolts and a padded specs sheet. Thanks for the review, at least now i know itll still be a good little bolt driver. Like #139 bud keep it up.

When are they going to release the XP570? All these companies tested crossbows that powerful over two years ago. They aren't seeing one dollar from me until they release them.

570 FPS??? You really want that? Those numbers would be pushing everything to and beyond their limits... What kind of draw weight/power stroke that would be, what kind of arrow to be able to handle it, string and cables...

Speed is overrated. 354 on the chrono with. 400 grain arrows is amazing price performance Xbow. I'll bet getting one to add to my collection.

I see the quiver piece on the bow you are using, but the quiver is not attached. Is it because it gets in the way? I’ve been trying to adjust it so that it doesn’t block the trigger on one side, finger guard on the other …then it ends up blocking the foot stirrup. Anyone deal with this? I have the butt set up just a notch back. Solutions? Other than don’t attach the quiver

I am not a quiver on the bow guy, I keep mine on my pack, no reason for the added weight and more for deer to see etc...

@@Njpw96 that’s where I got mine , after tax it was 260 here but still not bad. Barnett is quality and that’s a great price . I’m gonna try the arrows they come with but I’m very partial to RedHots . Topped with 2-1/2 shwackers and you can kill anything😂

I prefer the speed ring scope, aiming points in 10 yard increments for me, I am working cameras when deer come in, last thing I need is to be dialing in my scope. That's just me, those that don't record hunts just have a scope to dial in.

I own the Barnett 370 I shot three deer with it at 25 yds there was no blood trail or nothing don't waste your money on it

Sounds like bad shot or crappy broad heads to me. This bow is more than need for deer. Fast compounds were/are slower and kill deer. So how is no blood a crossbows fault?
