I like the Archies comics... I like aesthetic movies set in the 60's or 70's... I even enjoyed Riverdale (the beginning seasons)... I know Zoya Akhtar can make cool movies... I always knew these guys are going to debut at some point of time... But I feel, for them, a typical Bollywood-ish movie would have been something to look forward to... I can't put my finger on this..! It seems more like a home-project done over the vacations when all the cousins get together and the youngest aunty/uncle are free too... On top of that, Archies is a topic close to the heart of people born in the 80's, 90's and 70's too... So, I can't comprehend what's going on? Worried, it might not take off, OTT is a safer platform... Negative criticism doesn't filter up from there unlike in theatres where makers come to know if their movies did well or not... Idk why ppl are being so biased just because the story is not relatable..we have thousands of amazing shows n movies which show the real picture of India ..isn't it nice to dwell into some fantasy at times..
