One important detail left out of the video is that during the space exploration, the crew ran into one version of the solar system where the sun was covered in a chitinous shell and populated by stones that would move whenever they stopped looking at them. This sounds an awful lot like SCP-173, which could imply that our earths anomalies could have come from the numerous alternate worlds. This in turn means that 184 is responsible not just for the universe but the anomalies too. A number of other 001 proposals claim to have been the origin of all of the other anomalies, like the Factory or the Sheaf of Papers.

This SCP is for me very terrifying, not only because it expands the universe but we realize how puny our existence is, as its nothing more than the work of an architect, specially how it also "changes" human nature along with the creation of cosmic SCPs we most fear, like 1548.

I don't see how it would make our place in the universe any different. I mean you could compare a grain of sand to the entirety of the planet and you still wouldn't get close to how small the Earth is compared to the observable universe. You could do the same with time and say make a chart 10 ft long to represent the Big Bang till now and if you tried to show how long humans have existed it wouldn't even be a hair wide. I'm just making that shit up off the top of my head but I'm sure it would more or less bear out. Actually, I'm sure I have understated things. I don't see how some magic artifact adding even more space past what is already beyond possible observation without FTL travel makes things more strange. Like just that last one should be enough to make it impossible to humble us any further. There is shit so far away that the light will never reach us as the universe is expanding faster than the light is traveling. We don't even know what percentage of the "theoretical universe" (my term) is our observable universe. Our observable universe might just be a pin prick of the overall universe. And the overall universe could just be like one still frame in a film reel a trillion light years long that is the multiverse which is also expanding continuously and increasingly fast on each end... Humble yet?

@@hideousruin Good point, however what I meant with human nature is of the possible fact that we could be the fruits of the architect, what makes this more frightening is that all logic we study and try to comprehend is meaningless, if we and all life forms were created by the architect that means no exobiolgy factor exists, and with it, all units of life are unitary in a cosmic scale, by that, what we think to be true is not for the architect, the way it repeats our universe over and over proves that its purpose is to define all logic we stated so far, such questions would be that if the architect is at our Earth, would that mean that our planet is the center of existence? If it repeats creation over and over again, does it means that our planet is just a copy of another? What makes it frightening is that we just dont comprehend, we cant understand why it operates and hints how insignificant we all are, along with the questions that awake deep paranoia in our body, such as who created the architect? Is our universe just a room? Will our universe ever end expanding so the architect would create another? These questions are the very reason on how we can understand how its work, but in truth, we never will.

@@egesanl1 well maby the Timelords are the ones who manifactured this SCP and have found a way to contaighn it's anomalous properties by binding it and using a powersurce like a dieing star. If it is true that the thing wich contaighns this anomalous object would be an electromagnetic impulse it could very well be that a dieing star is enough to contaighn it's powers and make it acessable for an advanced programm/living computer to create a sheer infinite amount of rooms within the designated space wich is a time machine. So.....Time and Space Lords might be a bit of a too long title and shurely the influence of time is a greater remark than the influence of space so they took that name. Not to mention the whole regenerative aspect of theyr species and how they can extend theyr own time in that way and experience it anew in a cpletly new matter.....because they are a new individual. Wow that puts in also a lot of question if they had such tremense power and technological wisedom....why did they struggle with fighting wars at all if they just could and probably have a sheer infinite amount of possabilities to competly solve a conflict without ever fighting if they so desire to stay to theyr pacifist ways? I think to contain the Architect that the SCP Foundation should’ve acquired several tens of miles of land in the middle of the desert and have a barbed wire fence at the outermost perimeter that’s always monitored and guarded and for every mile further you go in, another fence will guard the Architect. At the center they could have the electromagnet that keeps the object semi contained. But the route the foundation took makes sense too, I’d just be scared someone might steal it🤷🏼‍♂️

This is the first SCP that I have seen that truly feels as though it could SCP-001. It encompasses so something so large, so cosmically ancient but still affects us as humans.It’s not big enough to be hard to approach like multiple universes, but still a large enough concept to be horrifying.

00:21 Somewhat similar to brass? Is it just me, or does it seem like SCP-184 is likely a copy of the true architect and the true architect is made of brass; not a close imitation of brass? Perhaps most copies of Earth have their own 184 clone and the original one resides in an Earth much less strange than that of the Foundation. Perhaps Earths too far away from the prime architect are too corrupted to be capable of supporting life, while the prime architect's Earth is close to normal. Perhaps some Earths in between, in a sort of Goldilocks zone, are ridden with anomalies and have organisations (like the Foundation and GOC) to deal with those anomalies. Perhaps the prime architect is the prime mover; in that it is responsible for not only the universe's expansion, but also the Foundation's Earth's anomalies and thus, indirectly, the Foundation itself. The SCP universe's origin makes so much sense, now.

I beleive SCP 184 is broken and was originally used in an unfathomably distant past to create universes, a kind of tool that type 5 civilizations would use often. The one in the SCP multiverse is but a broken or flawed device, and creates universes from nothing after being placed or forgoten in a structure of some kind, and the type five civilizations are probably leaving it be because would be otherwise too difficult to retrieve, not to mention that the multitudes of universes it had created have their own thinking and possibly dangerous individuals which would be too difficult to deal with. Perhaps the gate to eden in one of the other SCP-001s was the original entrance to which it origenated, and God (SCP-343) was the one who brought it in.

Actually, it seems like a good idea. In fact, the SCP foundation was kinda silly in declaring this object Euclid. They should have created a new classification for it. They could have used it to create critical Foundation infrastructure at no cost. Grow a watermelon or other large fruit around it, and harvest insane amounts of food. Or build a structure out of cheese and other food products, then use the replicated materials to build more of these structures every few days. Boom. Infinite food. Infinite computers. Infinite silicone, gold, liquid helium, ice, etc... The idea that this terrifyingly useful device is sitting on a magnet in a park seems somewhat uncharacteristic of the Foundation.
