Architecture is the domain of interactions: the exchange of knowledge and expertise, the intervention of tools and techniques, and even the interplay of objects, bodies, and particles in space. Dr. Iman Ansari will present his ideas about architecture and how his work has developed through professional practice, scholarly research, and personal experiences.
Iman Ansari’s work focuses on the historical and contemporary relationship between architecture and medicine. He is interested in how various things-gases, fluids, particles, humans, and non-humans-move and interact with and within buildings, and how architecture can provide a better framework to rethink and reimagine those interactions. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

the 1 st 2 mins went into creating a mystery hype and curiosity of what it could be, he is very good at using his words, I really liked the interactive simulation model of the hospital, then in the end to realize it was all a myth, then you reach a point thinking this myth went on to create the person that I listened to and found fascinating and interesting but a well designed myth to spark curiosity, apiration and want.

I think this was an exceptional presentation. What I thought was the point of the talk became different and more important in the end. Some commenters were lost on this. Their loss. The presenter's gain.

The ideas are creative but like the story that inspired him, they lack the foundation of research to become effective in reality. Our bodies need activity so much that some have taken to standing at their desks. Our natural physiology was never consulted nor the psychology of not wanting to be crammed in a box much less trapped in a sphere. People at nasa need to work together and be healthy. That doesn’t come encapsulated in your own rover. Start with reality by researching the human being that uses the artifact and more importantly why. Otherwise you have creative solutions that generate hype but won’t actually warm any bathers.

LOL. Communication is the 'domain of interactions,' sorry. I wish people would stop trying to reinvent words and their definitions, etymologists and wordsmiths like myself find it very tiresome. I know it's a stunt, but Mr. Ansari seems to be trying to link it to everything that exists, which is nonsensical.
