don't let Christians fool you with these cheap pseudo "criticisms" of Islam, ask yourself why it's almost always that the first thing they question is the age of Aisha RA and why not the main doctrines of Islam that are foundational to the religion! alternatively, when criticizing Christianity, Muslims tend to go after the reliability of the bibleS, Trinity, incarnation, and the original sin. why is that! we all know the reason so say Alhamdulillah.
@micahttt
@micahttt 2 жыл бұрын
The reason why Muslims tend to go to the Bible, trinity, incarnation and the original sin is because it is the doctrine of Christianity. Where the age of Aisha R.A are not the doctrine of Islam. So the two tendency are not the same.

Zainab was not the daughter-in-law of Prophet Muhammad because her husband Zaid was not the son of Muhammad. Islam does NOT recognize adopted sons: *God does not put two hearts within a man’s breast. He does not turn the wives you reject and liken to your mothers’ backs into your real mothers; nor does He make your adopted sons into real sons. These are only words from your mouths, while God speaks the truth and guides people to the right path. Name your adopted sons after their real fathers: this is more equitable in God’s eyes--if you do not know who their fathers are [they are your] ‘brothers-in-religion’ and proteges. You will not be blamed if you make a mistake, only for what your hearts deliberately intend; God is most forgiving and merciful. [Qur'an 33:4-5]* Just because you call someone your son out of affection doesn't make that person your son same as you calling a woman your sister out of respect doesn't mean she'll be regarded as your sister and you can't marry her. You cannot inherit someone's name by claiming him to be your father. Zaid can only be the son Prophet Muhammad had the the Prophet begotten Zaid or married the mother of Zaid or one of his wives breastfed Zaid as an infant but none of that happened and thus Zaid is NOT the son of Muhammad in any way and his former wife is not the daughter-in-law of the Prophet.

@@Toronado2 Here is the commentary of prominent scholar Syed Syed Abul A'la Maududi on Surah 4:23 in his Tafsir Tafheem ul Qur'an: *38. There is consensus among Muslims that if a boy or girl is breast-fed by a woman, that woman attains the status of mother, and her husband the status of father...* So if a woman breastfeed a child then both she and her husband will attain the status of the child's parents.

Wallahi subanallah brother Darren is Muslim role model for me to subanallah all these brothers are solders in gods eyes ya Allah I want to hug brother Darren wallahi I soo much encourage everyone in my family and friends to watch brother Darren and non Muslims, and the reason why non Muslims feel like his harsh when his not even insulting or mocking the individual he is only talking to and intellectually challenging their ideology because of the sharp mindset and the knowledge and wisdom Allah indeed blessed him with which inspired me more then 5 years ago and Subanallah my dear brother Darren is the reason I became obsessed with watching speakers corner because of the way he sharpened my mind and heart and enlightened my soul subanallah and I say this with my soul on it the way my dear beloved brother Darren inspired me to Islam and sharpened my mind subanallah and I cannot believe it this seikh guy is bringing up hatuns name out of everyone in this conversation when he is nothing like hatun it’s seriously ridiculous to even think that, he only felt like that because he’s belief was being challenged and like brother Darren exactly said in the video he always tells the Muslims not to react emotionally in these conversations but think intellectually and I know this is exactly haw the seikh individual was feeling when brother Darren was just challenging his seikh religion, brother Darren wasn’t even insulting or lying and making things up or even saying anything wrong like hatun, it’s an insult to even compare that sharp and wise mind and the beautiful reasonable heart of brother Darren with such a ignorant bent mentality with a weak disingenuous hypocritical lying heart of a real life loser like her, a weak heart that is too afraid to even look deep down into its own heart and have that decency and be brave enough to be genuine with its very own heart and just be honest with themselves, and that is exactly what brother Darren is intellectually trying to help a weak disingenuous heart like hatuns with in these conversations and help them develop a sharp mind and a brave reasonable heart that’s true to its very own heart, but the seikh individual completely misunderstood the way he approaches others in these conversations with that sharp and wise intellect Allah blessed him with and then allahamdulillah brother shabbier came and explained it to the seek gentleman, subanallah these Muslims brothers are solders in God’s eyes and the Muslims the Quran (God’s words) and Islam refers to, subanallah

The Christian guy talking about the prophet Mohammed (PBUH) marrying of his adopted Son divorced wife. Few points on that: 1. he didn’t want to mention that she was divorced. He keep saying adopted son wife. Why on earth he is ignoring ex wife. So, my understanding is that, there is no term in his paradigm called ex wife. 2. There was a concept before the islam that adopted son was like own son. They even used to call his(PBUH) adopted son zayid ibn Muhamed. But Allah prohibited that and he later know as zayid ibn Harisa. And he was married to prophet (PBUH) own cousin. So, Zainab (ex wife of zayid) is Mohammed (PBUH) cousin first. He wanted to establish that he married his daughter in law and she is like his daughter, but in reality she is his(PBUH) cousin as well. And later he got caught on what his own bible says. We Muslim believe that the immoral things written in bible can’t be word of God. These are later additions. When he came in Hamza senses that he is not genuine. He came like a sincere person and wants to study the life of prophet. But later he showed his true colour of hatred.

Just to add one point to completely debunk the Christian Time guy who said we cannot imitate the prophet(sm) by marrrying the ex-wife of our (hypothetical) adopted son. There are many laws in the Shariah that are adaptive. For example, Slavery is no longer practiced among muslims and have become adaptive due to the current context. We no longer are allowed to have adopted sons. He claimed that the prophet(sm) practiced it so now we cannot imitate him. According to his logic, we should ride in donkeys/camels, have concubines etc. regardless of what social/environmental context we're living in. This just shows that he doesn't even know that many Shariah rules are adaptive based on the environmental context that we're living in. That's what you call a proper ignorant, not to mention his standard of morality changed when it comes to the Bible.

It’s well known science that the heart has a “ brain” and the presence of mirror neurones , a neuron that fires both when we act and when we observes the same action performed by another . There is also two way communication between heart and brain. So the heart provides INFORMATION to the brain. The mirror neuron systems in the human brain help us understand the actions and intentions of other people. And is thought to be responsible for higher sophisticated human emotions like empathy, openness , vulnerability

I came from Christianity to Islam and Isa (AS) was my first big stumbling block. When I read the Quran, the question became moot. The missionaries are trying to make that point because it makes a nice soundbite on their channels for the reason that they don't need to include the response. As soon as their audience picks up the Quran, the game is over. 👍

Typical double standards of the Christian Charles.. The Gospels contradict each other regarding the crucifixion of Jesus What day was Jesus crucified? According to John's Gospel, a different day from the rest. Did he die on a tree or a cross? acts of the apostles and paul say tree gospels say cross. Was he crucified outside Jerusalem or inside Jerusalem? One says outside, other says inside. What were his last words? Different. LAST WORDS!! Did he die while his mother stood by the cross or was she standing in the distance? Did Jesus ask to be saved or did he not ask? Did he carry his cross all the way by himself or did he get help? And much more. Let's not talk about the resurrection second point according to the NT was Jesus resurrected ON the third day or AFTER the third day? (Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.) Start calculating…. What day should he come out the fourth. So it contradicts each other because : Mark 9:41 and AFTER three days he will rise.”vs Luke 18:33 ON the third day he will rise again. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, ( 1 Corinthians 15:3-4?) where please? remember well, he says: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. Math 7:3Why do you see the mote in your brother's eye, but see not the beam in your own eye? 4Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me take the speck out of thine eye; and behold, there is a beam in thine own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye

It is disheartening to witness the departure of our beloved brother Hamza from the EFDAWAH team. Whatever the reasons were for Hamza to leave EFDAWAH, it should be sorted out. Since Allah loves unity, we should rectify ourselves and be united. Giving up things for the sake of Allah to bring unity, we must strive towards it. The strength as it used to be, is broken and as a result, it will continuously be weaker without unity. May Allah keep us united. Ameen. We sincerely hope to see brother Hamza back on EFDAWAH. Hope everyone requests brother Hamza to re-join EFDAWAH and send another request to EFDAWAH inviting brother Hamza to re-join.

Nothing happened between them bro. Don't put doubts in ppls minds. He said it himself he didn't want to be the face of efdawah and wanted to do his own thing but will show up in efdawah streams. It's just he feels that efdawah and Hamza became the same thing so he wants to back off a bit and let the channel grow on its own without him being the face of it only.

SUNNAH & SCIENCE: EVERY MAN HAS 360 JOINT BONES 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Everyone has been created with three hundred and sixty Joints. Whoever mentions Allah's greatness (says Allahu Akbar), praises Allah, extols Allah, and seeks forgiveness from Allah and removes stones from the path of the people, enjoins what is good and forbids the evil to the amount of those three hundred and sixty joints (sulama), he walks on that Day (of Judgment) having distanced himself from the Hell fire." Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated the Prophet Muhammad said (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "In every morning there is a charitable act on the joints of any of you. Every tasbihah (to say: subhanallah, i.e. Glory be to Allah) is a charitable act; every tahmidah (to say: al-hamdu lillah, i.e. Praise be to Allah) is a charitable act, every tahlilah (to say: la ilaha illallah, i.e. There is none worthy of worship but Allah) is a charitable act; every takbirah (to say: Allahu akbar, i.e. Allah is the Greatest) is a charitable act; enjoining the right is a charitable act; forbidding the evil is a charitable act. However, to fulfill that charity, it is sufficient to pray two rak'at of Duha." The word "Sulama" in Arabic refers to the joint. It can be also used for all the body bones and the joints between them. Most of the body bones are movable, but some are fixed as those of the skull. The Explanation of the Hadith The hadith clearly directs Muslims to be grateful to Allah, the Almighty, Who dignifies and honors man, over all other creatures, by giving him a straight upright skeleton. It has been created of a huge number of big and small bones and cartilage. Between every two bones, there is a joint to enable the bones and to protect the body's soft parts. These joints enable the person to stand up, sit down, lie on his side, bend, stretch, etc. Every Muslim who worships Allah, Glorified be He, must be grateful to Allah for every one of these joints, and offer a charitable act, in way of gratitude to His Creator, for this great blessing, without which life would have been impossible. It is amazing that the Prophet Muhammad said (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned the number of the body joints so precisely, at a time when nobody had any idea about human anatomy. Even now in the 21st century, many people still do not know the number of joints in their bodies, including many professors of orthopedics. I asked many of them, and their answer was between 200 and 300 bones, and around 100-300 joints. Likewise, many international encyclopedias avoid giving an exact number of bones and joints of the human skeleton by classifying them into major groups or subdivision. The Encyclopedia Britannica classified them into three subdivisions: 1- The Axial Skeleton: which consists of the bones of the vertebral column and the majority of the skull bones. 2- The Visceral Skeleton: which consists of the thorax (the ribs and the breastbones), the lower jaw and some parts of the upper jaw. 3- The Appendicular Skeleton: which consists of the bones of the pelvic girdles, shoulders and limbs. The Hatchinson Encyclopedia, published in 1995, mentioned that the number of bones in a human skeleton is only 206 bones. In his book titled, "The Journey of Faith inside the Human Body", Dr.Hamid Ahmed Hamid mentioned that the total number of the human body joints is exactly 360, as the Messenger of Allah(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stated 1400 years ago. According to Dr. Hamid, the details of these bones are as follows: First: 147 joints in the vertebral column 25 joints between the vertebrae. 72 joints between the vertebrae and the ribs. Second: 24 joints in the thorax 2 joints between the bones of the sternum and the thoracic cage. 18 joints between the sternum and the ribs. 2 joints between the clavicle and the scapulae (shoulder blade). 2 joints between the scapulae and the thorax. Third: 86 joints in the upper extremity 2 joints between the scapular bones. 6 joints between the elbows. 8 joints between the wrists. 70 joints between the hand bones. Fourth: 92 joints in the lower extremity 2 hip joints. 6 joints between the knee bones. 6 joints between the ankles. 74 joints between the feet bones. Fifth: 11 joints in the Pelvis 4 joints between the coccyx vertebrae. 6 joints between the bones acetabulm. 1 joint of the pubic sumphysis. “Total number of joints: 360” Those joints, mentioned in the hadith, are the movable joints in the human body, which give the ability to the vertebral column and hence the whole body to move freely. The immovable joints, as those joining the skull bones, are not counted here. The movable ones are also known as "The Synovial joints", for they contain a fluid known as the "Synonvial fluid". This fluid allows friction-free movement of the bones by reducing direct contact. For example, the hip joint, composed of a ball-like head of the femur that fits into a socket-like depression of the pelvis bone, makes the hip and the whole leg movements easy and flexible. Another example is the Hinge joint, which enables man to easily bend his leg. Another type of joints is called "The Gliding joints" as that of the radiocarpal (wrist) joint. In this joint, the facing bone surfaces are in most cases flat, allowing the bones to glide freely in several directions. The joint between the two upper vertebrae has a special structure. It allows the side movement of the head, through the rotation of the ball-like head of one vertebra into the socket-like depression of the other vertebra. Were it not for the joints created by Allah the Almighty, man would not have been able to move one bone in his body. The defect in one joint causes a lot of pain and problems.

British study: Polygamy extends life and brings livelihood! 5/28/2022, 3:17:41 AM British study: Polygamy extends life and brings livelihood! A new study recently conducted in Britain revealed that polygamy extends a man's life by up to 12% and leads to his happiness, in addition to that polygamy helps a man improve his professional and material conditions. A study conducted by researchers from the University of Sheffield, British, stated that “marriage to a second woman gives a man greater self-confidence and comfort, which enables him to realize all his projects and dreams, and that polygamy is a relative cause of happiness and prolongation of life, and the improvement of men’s general health. As well as his physical condition.” The researchers pointed out that “polygamy may be the secret of a happy life and a long life,” by looking at statistics prepared by the World Health Organization on countries that allow polygamy and the positive results of that; Including that a husband who is married to more than one woman increases his age by 12% more than his uncounted peers. The study indicated that "a man who marries more than one woman and has a large family receives better care during his adulthood and lives for a longer period for several considerations that were discussed in detail in the study." "If you have more than one wife who takes care of you, that in itself makes you live longer, and we also know that a married man lives longer than a bachelor," said researcher Lance Workman, a specialist in development psychology at Britain's Bath Spa University. The British researchers, “Fryn Elberg” and “Brown Smith” stated in their statements regarding the new study on the second marriage of a man that “a man’s association with another woman increases his longing for his first wife and this improves their marital relationship, and restores her activity and friendliness again, and the man is by nature He gets bored of the marital relationship after a while, as he becomes cold and between him and his wife what is called “marital silence.” It is worth mentioning that the study included more than 700 cases from different countries where polygamy is widespread, and it concluded that the second marriage of a man renews his relationship with the first and removes boredom and apathy from their married life and thus benefits the first wife.

Trilla is a polite guy and made some good points about discourse and etiquette but I don't think he has considered the point that those who go out of their way to tell others their belief is wrong are more caring than the ones who only provide a good example. It comes from being more concerned for a fellow humans that we proactively inform them rather than leave them to figure it out themselves

Wow! The sikh guy was so rude and judgemental. There are so many rude, arrogant people, himself included who speak to Hamza and the other Muslim speakers, and take advantage of their tolerance and patience, but when Hamza shuts them down, then he is accused of being intolerant or arrogant because he is not a pushover. If the Sikh guy is upset about reincarnation being questioned, he knows it doesn't have a strong foundation, and he should reassess his belief instead of attacking Hamza and saying that he should pretend to agree with other beliefs which is what he really wants in the guise of the word "respect" The truth is he doesn't like Sikh or Hinduism being questioned or exposed. Btw it was the Hindu man's free will to approach Hamza and claim he was there to prove Hinduism is the true religion, and that man knew his belief would be questioned.

Abuse of women in the bible The reason behind pains of delivery. Genesis 3:16 - The New International Version (NIV) To the woman he said, “I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.” Women menses Leviticus 15:19-30 New International Version 19 “‘When a woman has her regular flow of blood, the impurity of her monthly period will last seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean till evening. Women should marry her rapist Deuteronomy 22:28-30 New International Version 28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, 29 he shall pay her father fifty shekels[a] of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives. Women should not speak in the churches 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 New International Version 34 Women[a] should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. 35 If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.[b] Violence againt women Hosea 13:16 New International Version 16 The people of Samaria must bear their guilt, because they have rebelled against their God. They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to the ground, their pregnant women ripped open.”[a] Numbers 31:15-18 New International Version 15 “Have you allowed all the women to live?” he asked them. 16 “They were the ones who followed Balaam’s advice and enticed the Israelites to be unfaithful to the Lord in the Peor incident, so that a plague struck the Lord’s people. 17 Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, 18 but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man. Women can't defend Deuteronomy 25:11-12 New International Version 11 If two men are fighting and the wife of one of them comes to rescue her husband from his assailant, and she reaches out and seizes him by his private parts, 12 you shall cut off her hand. Show her no pity. Kill women who are not virgins in the wedding night : Deuteronomy 22:20-21 New International Version 20 If, however, the charge is true and no proof of the young woman’s virginity can be found, 21 she shall be brought to the door of her father’s house and there the men of her town shall stone her to death. She has done an outrageous thing in Israel by being promiscuous while still in her father’s house. You must purge the evil from among you. A woman could not divorce her husband. Only the man could make the final decision about divorce.

Is it me, or was there something wrong with this episode? I felt like some of the panelists seemed disinterested to be there, but it could have also been due to the quality of guests. Apart from that, a few other things caught my attention. It would be beneficial to everyone if you guys just dealt with the person’s point first, then point out the inconsistencies in their argument. But to dismiss the question and turn it around on the questioner, seems quite unfair honestly, however, that still doesn’t dismiss some of the double standards the guests might have, yet it shouldn’t prevent us from giving them a great response to their unjust question and Alhamdulillah we do have some good answers for these questions. Concerning the word Massiah, it comes from the root word مسح and as brother Yemani pointed out it can mean to wipe, but it can also have other meanings, such as being anointed using oil, it can also mean to clean or clear off (masaha yadu min al turaab - ie He cleared his hands from the sand). And I’m sure there are other meanings to the word, one can look further if they choose. Concerning the guest who was asking about Zaynab bint Jahsh. I have no idea why none of the brothers cared to deal with the question. Yes, you don’t see a problem with it, but still, you could have at least empathized with the questioner and still answered their question. A background could have been given on who Zayd was and how he became the adopted son of Muhammad (saw). Plus a background on who Zaynab was as well. (ie Muhammad’s cousin) It is also important to note that it was Muhammad that pushed this marriage, while Zaynab herself was the one reluctant to marry Zayd from the beginning because he was a slave of Muhammad before adopting him. Yet after finally persuading her, they got married. So if Muhammad wanted her, he could have easily married her for himself from the start. Way more can be said about this and the wisdom behind Allah (swt) decreeing for these events to unfold this way. It might be too much to ask of our brother Hamza, but maybe doing an Arena once a week can increase the accuracy of getting a wider range of guests. And mashallah, I’m sure finding panelists on a weekly basis shouldn’t be that hard. But more importantly, there needs to have healthy discussions and as Muslims, people should be considered innocent until proven guilty, but here it’s everyone is guilty until they prove otherwise. That’s my two cents.
