First off, we dont know if they arent spending because they want to wait, or because ownership doesnt want to spend. With that said, remember this is a rebuild. They are building for the future of this team, not 1 season. So dont go getting rid of assets like draft picks for some 1 year rental. I rather the Cardinals not make the playoffs and keep their assets for the upcoming draft. Someone said Calais Campbell, really? Over the hill guy who may help now but will be gone next year? No thanks. And I am ok if they dont sign Conner. He is at that age where production for RB's will start to drop big time. If they keep him, dont overpay the man, or its gonna be another David Johnson. Buddha is another I dont mind if they dont keep. Fans are putting these guys too high on a pedestal.

realistically... I think we are going to rock with what we have this season and not go out and get a star edge rusher. because of like what you said how much cap we have for next season. our defense is playing fine right now, i think we'll get a big accusation for next season, and in the draft too. but for this year i think they're just going to give guys chances and let it ride.

I'm also very worried about the Jets game. because it's a do or die game for them. If they lose their season is pretty much over. I can't see a team with Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams having the season be over mid-way through the season. I think we do have some easy wins though after the Bye. Like the Patriots, Panthers, and Seahawks (I don't care if it's a division game, I think we sweep the Hawks this season).
