Well, it is not the function of government to provides jobs in a sane economy. It is the private sector, and the church falls within that sphere. Though it is almost a taboo to have a rational thought when it comes to things about religion in Nigeria, this amount of money could have been utilized to create sustainable jobs, not the one that stops when construction is completed. We all want a a better country, but we don't want any contrary view to our stereotyped way of seeing God. But we forgot that he said that "where one or two are gathered, he's there". Let churches stop building mega structures. We have had enough. Let them build the economy. Building is not the love of God. David never did, even Solomon that did, ended up been rejected. 90% of Nigerian school were constructed with missionary money when Christianity was ripe in western world. Now it is our time, what are we doing?

@LUTMA. There is nothing bad in collectively constructing the place of worship. I expect you to appreciate and support the man with such magnificent vision. As for building factory, the church employs many people who receive their salaries as at when due @Canaan Land. Government has major roles to play in creating jobs. Government is accountable to her citizens. Government should run after looters, and recover what have been stolen thereby directing to the right channels or use it to create job. As for the church, I personally support and applaud the vision. God bless our Nation
