Good video Mark. Still would love to see it in 'holdover' mode next, so viewers can see the red cross move up and down the reticle depending on the range distance and whether it works as well on the scope as the 'dial' mode you've shown today.😄

Great video, Question please , so once you zeroed it in saved your balistic info you have put in , The next time you use it and turn the Scope on do you have to do anything else like go in to the menu and turn anything on or go into the arken app and do anything there or you just range find it and should be bang on .. Thanks ..

Once you decide which method of holdover or dial in, it will remember it when the scopes turned on. Range it to target and it will hit every time.

Yes. Depending on your settings, if you have set the ballisitics up for more than one rifle, or pellet combination, just go into the settings for reticle zeroing and choose the alphabetic letter corrisponding to your set up, then press the left hand button to save. It will then remember the settings for your particular set up. Just take a couple of shots to see if it remains on zero, as wind will always affect the outcome, but as long as you are on the correct elevation, it should work. You can even go back into the menu, and back to reticle to make changes. As long as you save it when you come out, it should remember it.@@simoncoher4841

Are you using the Arken Ballistics app? I've just got my Arken Zulus (today) and looking to set up the sub 12 ZX Impact MK2

Yes, it's working well in both, hold over and dial in mode. My 11.2 ft/lbs rifles are hitting everything from 10 yards out to 65 yards spot on. After that the power drops off, and the ballistics aren't so good. The more powerful the rifle, the better it will be at longer distances. It's been great so far.

@tobiasostman7740 Once you put the data in your app and upload it to the scope, you choose the aiming method in the menu, either hold over or dial in. With dial in the cross, hair automatically moves, with hold over, it shows the holdover point on the reticle. Before doing this, though, zero the rifle and scope with the shot zero, at your preferred zero range.

To change the colour of your reticle, just give the cog wheel button on top of the scope a quick press, and the reticle will cycle through the different colours.

Once uploaded, it saves the information to the scope. Just go to the menu and choose the hold over, or reticle to target option. Press the laser once at the target then, again if needed for the scope to make the adjustments, and shoot.

Clarity looks good, shame the summers gone to see what it's like in extreme brightness and whether too much glare. Shame about the reactive targets

It’s only cheating if you use it in competition. Otherwise, it is a very useful tool, especially for hunting. 👍

It would have been a better amd more informative video, if you would have had say a quarter inch high horizontal line to aim to see just how accurate the ballistic calculator is ?? It shouldnt have made any diference what range it was zeeoed at in theory, thats for the bc calculator to work out, a bc calculator is only as good as the infor you feed it ,, but fist off all you nees to know what your air rifle is actually capable of grouping at the extended rangws with a scope first ,
