The Turks conscripted all fighting age Armenian en to the front to fight Russia but half were slaughtered by Turks. The conscription was intended to leave the rest of Armenians vulnerable to the intended genocide by the Turks. The schools will never teach this. One must teach their children themselves. Forgotten history channel w Colin Heaton has a good 20 minute video here on KZbin. The Promise with Christian Bale is a good movie.
