In 2017 the Armory Show welcomed over 200 galleries from 30 countries. I cannot imagine that everyone has the mental focus or physical stamina to properly look at the huge volume of art on exhibition. The show has the capacity to provide an enormous quantity of stimuli, and possibly to overwhelm anyone who is actually "looking" carefully.
