so to explain chris’ beliefs he believes that our universe has a sister dimension where the events of his fan web comics take place in, and that these two dimensions will be fused into one in an event he calls “The Dimensional Merge” and that when this happens all the fictional characters that also live in his comic universe whether they’re his original creations or not will coexist with us in this new fused super dimension and that he will reclaim his sealed off god powers that only exist in our “sister dimension” and he will rule over this new universe. It essentially serves as a massive power fantasy for him and he believes it wholeheartedly and likely does because he so desperately wants overwhelming supernatural powers to punish and oppress anyone that’s ever trolled him or doesn’t indulge in his fantasy because he lacks any sort of respect or real way to retaliate and hurt people irl that he hates for one reason or another

@@paulblartmemecop7218 yeah they did irreversible damage to chris’ mental health and i just didnt include them in my little explanation since introducing a troll group would’ve made it even more unintelligible to someone who’s just finding out about chris’ antics for the first time. plus if you look back you could always tell that chris sorta/wanted to believe CWCVille was real place to escape his admittedly rough and shitty life and they just gave him an excuse to embrace it to cope with his crappy circumstances. the entirety of the sonichu comics is basically just a form of wish fulfillment/power fantasies since in the comics all the hero characters basically have no flaws (at least in his eyes) since chris projects himself onto all of them and he cant go making himself look bad (which is irony beyond his grasp) and has his own self insert character that basically steals main character status from the main sonichu characters on top of all the others he makes perfect and flawless to his stands. a lot of the comics basically revolve around chris always being right, being the victim, and not joking here, murdering and hurting anyone that he doesn’t like and always getting his way pretty much

Long story short one of Chris's trolls convinced him that there was an incoming "dimensional merge" a couple years ago where all fictional characters and their worlds would merge with ours and Chris believes he'll be the god of the merged universe I might have gotten it wrong but another channel called "SmokeyMcC" made a bunch of videos covering "the merge" and just about all the other insane shit that follows Chris. I'd reach out and see if you could react to some of his videos i think you'd get a kick out of them even some of them are hours long.

I think the whole thing about Chris getting her charges dismissed is that I assume she got her charges dismissed due to her being autistic(correct me if I’m wrong on that)and the laws of committing incest are different in Virginia which is why she only served two years. I have such conflicted feelings about the entire Chris Chan phenomenon. I think when I first discovered Chan, I just passively accepted that the internet's mistreatment of him was warranted, probably because (as a neurotic teenager who was on the spectrum like Chan) I was scared of growing up to be like him and therefore wanted to internally distance myself from what he represented. As I've gotten older, however, I've realized that a lot of the "lore" surrounding him just stems from gratuitous cruelty, and I'm honestly kind of ashamed that I tacitly excused this behavior. I've thankfully never interacted with Chan or encouraged any of the people who fucked with him, but I feel at least indirectly complicit by gawking at his misfortunes and assuming that everything bad that's happened to him was deserved. I think part of it is that watching people on the internet allows you to depersonalize them and reduce them to cartoon versions of themselves, so you don't have as much empathy for them as you would if you interacted with them IRL. Obviously, there are certain thresholds that he's crossed where citing his autism is no longer a valid excuse for bad behavior (and that's not even getting into what he did to his mom), but before a certain point, he was arguably pretty harmless in the grand scheme of things. I feel like he wouldn't have gotten this unhinged if the trolls had just left him alone. I dunno, if nothing else, his story is gonna be a case study for the pitfalls of chronically online behavior and the unique cruelty that online anonymity allows for.
