I continue to be astonished by the amount of love and effort you put into this game (now these games, i suppose). That said, I must know: What happened to the bots' designs? Will we get to fight the classic CDIDZ enemies in VR, or just these new models? The player model seems mostly the same (with upgraded hands, of course), so why are the enemies all... like that?

It's going to be all-new designs. The devs wanted to the new Bots to have more specialized roles(Samurai, Berserker)instead of the generic weapon designations like Sword Bots.

hi, i was playing clone drone in story mode in chapter 5 on insane difficulty, to get the emperor skin. I managed to do the chapter but I didn't get the skin or the achievement to complete in insane mode. I wanted an explanation because this discouraged me a lot, making me stop playing the game.

That's just the placeholder name of the place you're fighting in, perhaps they'll come up with a better one down the road(the game is still in preproduction, so...). ANd it's not the actual name of the game, either.

It's most definitely not renamed as "City Arena". It's probably just a placeholder name for a location in the game, considering that the game's still in preproduction. I'm sure we'll get a name that'll fit in more with Clone Drone's worldbuilding later on. It's obviously not going to be the name of the game either, and yes, this is a sequel to PC Clone Drone as a VR game.

No Zombie Bots, but Hammers and Spears will return to the VR game. The Bots won't be named after their weapons anymore, though. They're all going to have specialized roles with unique AI, like the Samurai and the Berserkers. Of course, you might've noticed that the new Bots still only wield specific weapons, like how the Samurai wield the giant two-handed Sword and the Berserkers typically dual-wield. So I guess you can consider the Samurai Bots as the VR equivalent to PC Clone Drone's Sword Bots.

@@thedarkone5117 You gotta remember that the VR game's still technically in preproduction: Lots of placeholders that are being used will phase out as the game gets more developed, such as how the Samurai and the Berserker AIs used to only use the Sword Bot Mk 2 model. I'm sure the VR Archer Bots will also get their own unique model in due time.

Yes and yes. Some VR Bots don’t have models so the devs had to make do with a Sword Bot Mk 2 until they could make a proper model for them.

Тут точно не знаю но можно добавить одноручные версии оружий. Вид от 1 лица как это показано на этом видео. И если вобще возможно или в виде мода то редактор анимаций то есть можно сделать свою анимацию бега удара и т.д будет очень приятно если вы добавите что-то из моих предложений.

No new weapons will be added to Clone Drone. Besides, an Axe would just be a weird middle child between a stronger Sword and a weaker Hammer. Not much reason for it to be in PC Clone Drone. And as someone who used the First Person Mod before it got removed, lemme tell you that it was quite detrimental to play Clone Drone that way. I had worse depth perception than usual, and your field of vision is mostly blocked by your own weapon.

@@SwordBotMk3 спасибо за описание мода про вид от первого лица! Что насчёт глубины я немного не понял. Но как я видел сам на одном канале там камеры была походу прикреплена к голове нашего робота. Также мне кажется что с этим модом будет удобней с молотом или луком так как лично я не понимаю расстояние от молота до вражеского бота из за чего я бью на интуицию. Что насчёт топоров=если добавить новую атаку то есть анимацию атаки топора ну не просто топора чтобы пеньки рубать🤣 а двуручный средневековый топор односторонний. Мне кажется это отлично впишется в стилистику игры если правильно всё сделать. К тому же будут добавлены новые крутые боты! Да я понимаю что есть анимации удара молота и они тоже подходят к нашему топору но бить по вертикали не очень но вот простой удар под углом это чот новенькое. Во всяком де случае это моё мнение на такие вот добавления и идей.

When I said I had “worse depth perception”, I meant that I couldn’t tell how far my melee weapons would go, so I would have to rely on intuition and luck a lot more compared to the usual third person.
