@@ryanrei that’s not having high standards it’s called delusion when you expect instant results and instant trophies from a club that hasn’t won anything big in 20 fucking years that’s delusion we need to take baby steps so top 4 challengers every season consistently that will show players who want champions league football we are a safe bet we need to get into the latter stages of the champions league quarter finals, semis etc win small silverware on the FA cups carabao and just work up to winning the league/ potentially champions league which we have never won.

Saliba masterclass is 100% because of Arteta. Imagine Saliba being a part of the team that ended 8th and 5th in the last 2 seasons. Arteta protected him from the fans due to our poor defensive displays in previous seasons. Once the team was near complete, Arteta unleashed him and we lead the league until he got injured

I have watched a lot of Lee Gunner, and I normally agree a lot with his thinking and opinions. But regarding Saka, I dont see it. Sorry. I agree more with Troopz. 7 for this season is enough. I rate Saliba and Martinelli much higher. Probably The two players I fear the most as a Chelsea fan. But I agree regarding Sakas personality. He seems like a Cool and smart guy, and I do like his mentality. But for me overhyped as a footballer. I also agree with all of them regarding Zinchenko, But maybe 3 is a bit harsh😆 Hope to see all 4 of them together like this again!

Gabriel should be the highest ranked defender. When Saliba was fit Gabriel had to hold own his spot and cover the acres of space that Zinny was leaving on the left side. Basically doing the work of two men. When Saliba went down, he had to watch over Holding because he knew the breakdown was imminent. Hold down his spot, and continue to cover the space Zinny left. He was literally doing the work of three men for half the season.

I am not saying he is better that Saliba, we all know that is not true. But…They are grading for this season. Therefore Gabriel should get the highest marks in my opinion.
