I'm not sure how he popped up on my recommendations either (GOD) . But man,I gotta say, ever since I found out about him it's become like a nearly constant soundtrack for me. Sorry to disagree… not “some of the best”. I say THE BEST, because there is no style inside the genre where he doesn’t excel. There are some great players out there, but many are a bit one dimensional. But not JJ. He can and does play every style.

Here I am again, a beautiful Saturday night 🌙 and I'm grilling some pig and chicken and trying to watch JJ, I listen while I'm prepping the food but I need to watch the Master. 😁 the only way I can explain it is, I'm so proud for JJ like he was my only son? Don't get me wrong though, I have two sons I'm very proud of and I love them so much, but it makes me very, very happy to see someone so into their element and give so much to us, it's like when someone says, the planets are aligned and good things will come. The endless hours of hard work that JJ puts into every set is astonishing, I've never seen anyone make it look so easy, And maybe it is when you're doing something that you love and live? God bless Justin.

I can only wish I had the talent in my hands like JJ and all of these guys that are rocking and have a little bit of fun in their lives? My old arthritic hands aren't able to do this kind of beautiful playing anymore and mind you? I've never, ever seen anyone with so much talent and love for playing? I mean yeah we all love the old blues and jazz and rock, and not everyone wants to be in the world spotlight? Sometimes this is what makes us different?
