the way they use colours is something else.. i really liked your art, too! your first attempt looked good, but i felt like the second carries more of your own style and idea, which made it more unique and interesting

I have been a fan of their art for sometime now, because there was always a sense of mystique behind it. Seeing now how it can be studied and analyzed really shows me the far corners the mind of an artist can reach when creating. This was a really good video, thank you!

this video is super interesting, plus your voice is very soothing and that's actually something that makes the viewing experience optimal to me. this art style in particular was one i'm not familiar with at all, but it's extremely appealing, the way you analysed it was kinda eye-opening on contrast and the importance of it to put focus on a part of a painting. thank you for taking the time to analyse gtsleep1200's art style and give valuable advice by doing so. the first drawing you made, like the idea, composition was top notch in my opinion, i wanted to see it done, i won't lie because it was very inspiring. but the mob psycho fanart looked captivating, the colours and compo made it very unique and instantly eye-catching. also side note: i followed your advice in the video on how to make digital paintings look traditional and what you stated in this video has like the most valuable art information i was searching for years so thank you lots for posting!!! ♡ hope you get the recognition you deserved, i subscribed!

Good point! I never really looked at the interesting shapes going on in gtsleep's art, even though the shapes created through light and shadow are one of the best points in their drawings. I'll try to keep shapes more in mind the next time Ianalyze sth, or draw sth myself! Thanks

So many likes!? You should do a course on how to talk. There's an amazing talent here. There's no other way. After all, the result itself (all this analysis, trying to do the same) is a complete failure. But everyone praises it.
@CinimodDraws3 ай бұрын
Hahah yeah, I gotta work on my speech. But in my defense, english isn't my first language. Personally, I think my analysis and attempt are alright, but the amount of views really is disproportionally large. Calling it a complete failure tho is too harsh tho.
@ShadowWind823 ай бұрын
@@CinimodDraws About what you've built a well narrated speech - I'm speaking without sarcasm. The success of your video is proof of that. However, the art itself, as a confirmation of the correctness of analyzing and using other people's knowledge is a failure. The dude you analyze creates almost monochrome drawing, and in very light colors, then he makes a color accent on some detail (very saturated color), and makes light shading with a strong light source that illuminates only part of the character (I'm not talking about anatomical stylization). You have light shading - no, accent color - no, the colors themselves - too different in tone. You did everything to make the art as far away from the person you were trying to copy as possible. But despite the result on the art most people like the video. So the conclusion is that it does not matter how you draw, analyze or whatever - the main thing is to be able to talk well. Congratulations - with this you are all good.
@CinimodDraws3 ай бұрын
I see, first of all thanks for complimenting my talking. Secondly, yeah the way you describe gtsleep's style is very quick and concise (monochrome drawing, accent color, strong and focused lightsource). I get why you say that my attempt doesn't imitate their style very well (eg. on accent color), and I'll keep what you said in mind, if I try sth like this again. However, compared to my usual drawings, this illustration does go more in the direction of the artist I studied, I think (even if the study is lacking as you say) - I guess we just have differing opinions on that, or maybe you're just way more advanced than me in art (I'm not considering my art advanced yet, maybe at high intermediate stage). Be that as it may, thanks for feedback and criticism.
