I can't overstate how much I love these videos-they're just a ton of fun. I can genuinely say that they were almost singlehandedly responsible for getting me into woodworking (which I now love and is my favourite hobby). Still suck at engraving though-can't seem to keep the graver from blunting instantly; though that might be the crap steel I'm making them from. Anyway, thank you for these.

Im a woodworker from indonesia, an amateur luthier too. I built something just like yours, square, just a slab live edge from table cutout. Sounds great, just very heavy and uncomfortable around the chest. I ended up shaping it like a telecaster. Good job on the wiring too man!

Uri! I have a great idea for your skill set. Can you make a beautiful engraved pocket watch case. But make it for the iPhone. Some sort of spring button will open the clamshell. Put a credit card slot on one side and the other just whatever. A pastoral scene on enamel. What do you think? Hope you’ll consider it.
