I'm just 8 minutes in, but he already said music to my ears... "API is a contract... Don't change the contract (unless you absolutely have to)" As a dev and consumer of OPS (other peoples services) it irritates me when people get fancy and think they'll "just add stuff" to the API and that it'll "improve the interface" without considering the cascading breakage side effects.... the pain is real.

Seems more like discussion on various Java features more than building API
