@@getjervisah yes that’s loads of fun. Thinking about the cost aspect of DIY, have you considered buying just the panels/boards, and then orderinbrg the BOM (parts) from Mouser? That’s my next DIY challenge personally; true you need to plan your builds more and order the boards and parts separately, but I think it’s probably the most cost-efficient way to do kits…

I gave it a shot, but I think it isn't for me. I'd rather save some time and buy the module preassembled. But maybe I would have had a better time if I bought a more expensive iron. Still a useful skill in case something breaks.

I think you’ve nailed it there .. it isn’t for everyone but a good iron makes more difference than you’d think.. 🙏
