@@RawazJabbar I am hesitating in getting their online drawing classes. I know it doesn’t compare to in person would you say its that good? Thanks!

@@bigyoshi2456 its the best and closest you'll come to an actuall in person in my opinion, JUST ONE THING watts's program is for the hardcore student you will have to grind hard and repeat assignments over and over again until you learn the concepts, youll be amazed how fast you get good

Jeffery Watts is my favorite draftsman of all time. The quicksketch courses are so good. It’s almost time to subscribe again. Trying to keep up with him, and maybe even hearing the same thing over keeps me coming back. It’s helped so much in my life classes. As someone taught Reilly rub outs, there was such a quick push to modeling form and I knew I personally needed the drawing aspect. I’ve been so grateful for the content, and I always get excited to hear about the lineage. Thanks so much!

that was cool. something i noticed that i had not noticed before: that some of his indications were several concepts combined into one or two strokes. for example there were some lines that were an indication of a shadow map, plane change, anatomical rhythm line in one to two strokes. something you don't see as much in the fundamentals demonstrations because they are focused on beginner instruction, taking separate steps so the beginners don't get lost. but quicksketch you can see Jeff thinking several steps ahead and anticipating and you get interesting things like a line that indicates several things at once.

"Still, a really nice drawing, though..." Yeah, Jeff. It is :) Probably no one would though that the "mistake" on proportion of the head, or whatever, would made this draw ugly, or "not nice". You are a very inspiring person. Whatever you do will inspire people. To us, this is not a mistake. It´s a reminder to us that you too it´s a human being as everyone else, trying to be excellent to the society. And this is beatiful. Cheers, keep the great work!

Thanks. I learned a lot from your approach. I'm doing a class in a couple of days, so I'll give it a try. There does appear to be a couple of 'dangers', I think. First, I find it useful to plan out where on the page the whole figure sit (so you don't run out of paper when you get to the foot). I doubt if you have this problem. But, because you're so well-versed in drawing figures, you can reproduce a certain pose without a model (though it would have been better to use a live model, not a photo). I see this when I'm drawing in Ukraine (which has a strong 'traditional' art training). Your final drawing is very impressive though I would argue the attitude of the model is different from your drawing, in particular the size and orientation of the head/face and the orientation of the shoulders, which are further back in your drawing. Nevertheless, a fine drawing and a lot of help to me.

Wow, Jeff is human after all. 😂Incredible teacher: god knows how much knowledge would’ve been lost without this little, universe denting atelier of his.

Great demo, I'm anxious to try it that way. On a side note, I don't know how people get "ah-till-ee-yay" out of the French word atelier (ah-tehl-yay).
