How did he slow it down so much and still maintain that high definition look, at 4:30 it looks like that would have had to been shot in 240fps but it looked HD to me

he most likely uses an effect available for Adobe AFX called Twixtor which blends the frames and calculates the movement of the pixels and simulates a slow motion shot. If you look carefully enough at the trees in that shot, you can see how the slow motion isn't accurate and they sort of blend fade in and out cause of the inaccuracies of the program. They used it to show some really stunning shots though!

Wlsn No because he filmed with an Hero 3+, the Hero 3+ can't record in 1080p and 120fps? Only Hero 4 man. He must have shot in 1080p 60fps or 720 120fps.
