How do you do off- contact?

They don't really. That's why they use waterbased. You could try and create it how you assemble the press or use coins under the top of the screen.

@@abbyhaukongo Yes, as waterbased sinks into the shirt more than plastisol that how I assume they get away with no off contact and multiple strokes. Plastisol is very sticky also. Plus they use hair dryers in baskets to create heat and airflow needed to cure and dry waterbased. Plastisol they would just heat gun or flash head.
