Such a gentle soul, sharing his wisdom and experience with us. He looks tired and weakened by the illness, but yet proud of his achievements and happy with his life, like fearless. What an artist and what a man.

My precious Robin. Obviously he was very ill when he did this interview. Although his pain and weakness had to have been horrid he was still positive and lucid in that genius mind. I listen to ROBIN and the Bee Gees every day and night of my life. There will never be an equal or repeat of this from birth to death genius songwriters, singers , humanitarian brothers. I feel blessed to have lived in the same times as they. With all their talent and fame they remained humble, grateful and generous.

At the end of this interview, Robin said "Songs about human relationships and the human condition last forever." How true that is. Thank you, Robin (and your brothers), for all the beautiful music you created for millions of people to forever cherish.

Personally, I never understood how anyone could look at Robin and not see all the beauty. I don't care what decade, all I see is gorgeous when I see Robin. It's far, far beyond simple skin deep beauty. It's eternal in that lovely soul of his. We all grow old and fly away, but when you have the right vision, when societies perception of beauty is no longer there, people like Robin will blind you with real beauty. Will love you forever Beautiful Robin... xxx

Robin was such a kind, sensitive, intelligent man. He was a voracious reader. He was a songwriter, a musician, a singer and producer. In this video, he explained the art of songwriting in such a beautiful way. His voice was simply angelic. May he, Maurice and Andy be singing in heaven. God bless Barry, as well. ❤❤❤❤

The Bee Gees were expert lyric writers which I think they integrated into melodies. They were phenomenal composers on top of songwriters and singers/performers/musicians. I think their ability to have fun and collaborate with one another brought out brilliance.

Totally agree. If the succes grows your ego, you are lost. Simplicity and be aware that the succes can.t change you for bad is the key. The stupidity of the ego needs to be stopped. And you become a good person and better professional. Thanx, Bee Gees, for your huge legacy.

THAT WAS ROBINS WAY OF ALL THE BICKERING BETWEEN HIM AND HIS OLDER BROTHER BARRY...OF ALL THE COMPETITION BETWEEN THE 2 HE HUMBLY FINALLY SORTA BEAUTIFULLY SAYS I WAS VERY VERY LUCKY TO BE BORN INTO THE SAME FAMILY AS THE THE GREATEST COMPOSING SONGWRITER WAS ......MEANING BARRY .........ROBIN FINALLY GAVE IT UP TO BARRY.......I THINK HE TRULY WANTED BIG BROTHER TO FINALLY KNOW HE TRULY LOVED AND KNEW HOW GRATEFUL HE WAS BEFORE DYING....
@vincecozzi25455 жыл бұрын
I took soooo long for Robin to flat out give it up to Barry like he did so graciously....because he spent an enormous amount of time in complete competition with him and a bit envious.....but I guess facing your mortality as he grew sicker made him soften and realize that it was really really important to acknowledge big brothers Greatness and he certainly did just that ....that was awesome
@mrsjake18284 жыл бұрын
@@vincecozzi2545 It's just too bad that Barry couldn't return the compliment and acknowledge Robin's gifts and contributions too before Robin died. Without Robin, I wonder what Barry would have actually produced. Massachusettes, I Started a Joke, I Gotta Get a Message to You, And the Sun Will Shine, and the list goes on - came out of Robin's brain. I think Robin always loved and appreciated Barry. Barry could have been a little jealous when his little brother outshone him in those early years.
@mrsjake18284 жыл бұрын
@@vincecozzi2545 I Can't See Nobody, Odessa, Lonely Days, How Can You Mend a Broken Heart - both of which Barry said they wrote on the day Robin came to see him at his house a year and a half after the breakup. Robin's voice on their early hit songs must have made Barry crazy since he always considered himself the lead singer until they came back to England and things changed.

No doubt it took all 3 brothers to make the Bee Gees as successful as they were. But Barry was instrumental & key to their sound & success. After all, it was the heavy hitters & big stars who sought out Barry....& not particularly all 3 brothers.
