Jeff is such an amazingly talented artist and I had the pleasure to meet and speak with him at the Courtesan Cup and he was extremely friendly and interesting to talk to. Holy smokes. I think all of these ideas will make great cards! It would be awesome to see this "saga" of invasion carry over in multiple cards/sets. What a legend. I cannot wait for Oct. 4th!!! Mr. Menges - You are absolutely amazing. My favorite card you've done for Sorcery is Bone Rabble. I don't know why, but I love it.

The Foiling of the Sunscape and torches would look so great! Also the invasion of the Harbor looked really good too, similarily created scale of invasion and showed threat and urgency from the citizen. That would be a great alternate art if possible.

I've always loved Jeff's art but the more interviews I see of him the more I realize how perfect he is for the game. His passion for this genre of games really shines through. Saying things like "the treb stayed" instead of "Trebuchet" shows how often this guy thinks about this kind of stuff. Love it!

What's here looks amazing of course but I'm suprised Eric didn't want that first sketch with the shepherd. What reads better as 'invasion' more than a guy yelling to the village about approaching boats. Maybe it was too close to someone's viking heritage... 😂
