I admit I am addicted to KZbin. But now, I am sick and tired of the political channels, and I am now limiting my time on it. I walk my dog, and enjoy cooking (but less and less so) There are many wonderful artists out there, so I have a list of subscriptions and go to them for painting. You are an inspiration Diane!

Yes Melinda, it’s so easy to be addicted to watching these ridiculous videos. 99% of it is lies, I’m sure. People talk about ‘click bait’ as if it was okay to deceive people into watching videos which don’t live up to their titles! So glad you enjoy our channel!

We love watching you outside with your animals etc. It’s feels SO calm when you are talking to your family animals and telling us about them. - I bet a lot of people would like to see you do more of that. You wouldn’t have to think of lots of stuff to say… just be yourself. ( as if we were there with you.) I think most people like to hear about other peoples lives. 🤗 You are one of the most loveliest, honest, real people that me and my Aunt listen to. It truly is an inspiring story. Especially since 'we' started the video talking about how we all need hope right now... it reminds me of the scene in Evan Almighty when Morgan Freeman is explaining to the woman that when we pray for something, like hope, God doesn't give us the hope, he gives us the opportunity for the hopefulness. ❤

Sometimes I think the creators on KZbin - the individuals who put up the content, people like me - are to blame as much as KZbin the system. After all, who writes the titles? It’s us, not KZbin. So an artist who insists every time on claiming that their video is the absolute answer to the universe is guilty of exaggeration at the very least and lying at the very worst. Just to try to get seen more. I know I’m a voice in the wilderness but I’m not going to shut up!

Thanks so much for your support Anne, and I hope you are finding something nice to paint. I don’t know why it’s so hard sometimes to get started!

Beautiful painting as always! The pastels were soothing. I absolutely agree with you about the hysterical KZbin headlines. There are times when even some of the channels i subscribe to have such blaring, hysterical, clickbait, and even misleading headlines that I’m offended and irritated enough so I just refuse to read the article. Also, I just ordered your brushes!

I think you should paint a nice berry patch

I'm with you, I only watch you and a select few vlogs that my friends in the UK do....the rest I don't bother with

I especially enjoyed seeing your 365 Days book. Some of the exercises call for using things other than paint…….it was nice to only see paintings in yours. Duh moment….you can do what you want in your own book🤦♀️. I feel the same about all the crap that shows up on our KZbin sites. 😤

Dianne. I understand how you feel. Sometimes I just start singing Patsy Clines’ Stop The World and Let Me Off. I recently saw a recommendation from an artist KZbinr to sign up for a free pop up workshop that she had taken in the past. She wasn’t affiliated in any way, just an impressed student. The workshop is called ART OF YOUR LIFE with Nicholas Wilton. I have signed up for it. It hasn’t started yet, but he sends out prompts beforehand and today he was talking about just playing with art.

Hi Bonnie, I’ll look into that workshop. Sounds interesting.

I loved the happy ending about your 🐓. I was also wondering how your good friend that had the bad accident is doing. I love watching your channel. ❤️

He’s doing fine for an 84 year old. He is still healthy and able to go up on our roof and repair it. His only real problem now is his sadness about his son and grandson, who have both gone off the rails in the UK and are headed for a life of crime. There’s no safety net for a child who is expelled from school, or an adult who can’t manage as a one-parent family. Very hard.

@@DianeAntoneStudio That’s so very sad. I’m retired now, but was a high school counselor for many years. I saw these things happen sometimes, and once a student starts spiraling downward, it’s hard to turn things around. 😢

On each photo, there are 3 dots to the right or at the bottom. Click on them and choose "Not Interested". Now days it seems we have to "teach" the algorithm what we want to see. I choose "not interested" ALOT these days. It also is forcing us to use our subscription area to avoid the trash. The world is scary... I don't like it either. I am sorry you are feeling uninspired. I think you are awesome. Been learning from you the past 3 weeks. Thank you!❤ (Maybe you need need some raucous music and just dance like a wild woman. 😊)

I had to look it up: In the fast-paced world we live in, making quick decisions has become a necessity. However, there is an age-old adage that warns us about the consequences of hesitation: “He who hesitates is lost.” This powerful Bible verse serves as a timeless reminder of the importance of taking decisive action in our lives. The phrase “he who hesitates is lost” originates from the Book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible, emphasizing the significance of seizing opportunities when they arise. This verse encourages us to overcome our doubts and fears, urging us to trust our instincts and make choices without delay.
