Im seeing a lot of people who all are saying the same about how watching a simple world like this makes the game interesting again but my advice to all of you burnt out with minecraft is dont start a world expecting anything, go in and go slow, you dont have iron by day 5? See if you can go 10 days without it, you find a temple? Why not instead of looting it fix and upgrade it and connect it to a bigger system of roads, nothing major but something you dont normally do or even something you dont like doing, this is one of the few games i can regularly get back into even after years, you see so much stuff now that it makes you think "why cant i do that?" Then you start and realise theres only so many hours a day and stop, just give yourself big tasks you can actually finish and without copying build something that represents you, for me thats castles and villages for others it might be farms or whatever but you dont have to do this ultra hardcore stuff just to make the game fun, its fun as it is and gets more stuff added constantly, im glad people are starting to feel like i do about the game though, it can be as simple as a farming simulator if you feel like it and sometimes something as simple as a nicely put together farm is all it takes, to the guy who made this video if you see this i love the style you used i always have issues with layered farms but a nice compact one like that looks great

I've recently completed a terrace farm that releases water and washes out all of the crops at the press of a button and then feeds into a hopper. I've realized that I prioritized progression too much in my previous worlds so I'm just taking the game one step at a time. I've already built an entire cherry blossom village with little farms that look nice and have functionality. I think that too many people focus on netherite gear and elytras, and by the time they get maxed out enchants on the best gear in the game, the incentive to build is mostly gone. I like to see real builds like this instead of the unrealistic and 99% of the time fake builds that you see on hardcore series.

Hmm I think a "water terrace" would be amazing, like a kind of waterfall? xD
@Etat7 ай бұрын
Yea!!! I was thinking about playing around with water, maybe having water run down the sides of the farm. Someone actually suggested making an irrigation type of thing. I think you guys are both on to some great ideas! Thanks for sharing!! 😄

some tips: don’t use item frames too much or you’ll lag to death; the game counts item frames as entities and entities lag same thing above for chests, use barrels instead; barrels are not only cheaper, but they aren’t entities unlike chests and they can open all the time even if there’s an obstacle above also they would match the spruce theme of the house anyways let’s get this man to 100k!
@Etat7 ай бұрын
Thanks for the tips! I think I'd have to use a TON of item frames and chests to start seeing some lag since I am on a singleplayer world as opposed to a multiplayer server. But I will still be mindful of that, thank you! Thanks for the support, it means the world to me ❤
@therealusman7 ай бұрын
@@Etat definitely! but i saw a little clip in your first episode where there was an entire area with 1 item frame per block and if that theme continues it could definitely rack up

I love your terraced farmland. It looks amazing and so cozy. 🤩 And the spruces complete everything. Good idea to plant them higher. Maybe you could try dark oak fences for the small trees, because spruce blends too much with the dirt in the background?
@Etat7 ай бұрын
Thank you! I appreciate the suggestion! I still need to find a dark oak forest in my world. But as soon as I do, I am definitely swapping out the spruce fences for dark oak. I agree, the spruce blends in a lot with the dirt, dark oak would look ten times better 😄

Farmer's delight mod very fits this kind of gameplay, maybe pair with Alex's mobs
@Etat7 ай бұрын
I'm not very familiar with those mods. I usually stick to vanilla but maybe could do another series sometime in the future with these mods. Thanks for the suggestions! 🙂

yay! i always prefer donkeys. they can carry saddlebags - er, chests! i love the idea that the cinematic shot camera is both the cinematic camera and An Actual Thing. love to see how you develop it - your art, like your construction, into something beautiful. and yes. your farm, and the hillside behind, are beautiful.

it's a small change, but i think the roof of the well should be rounded off. with the posts being on the diagonal like that it looks strange and asymmetrical to have two flat sides and two sloped sides imo.
@Etat7 ай бұрын
Ok yea, I got ya! For some reason I thought it wouldn't get a nice peak on the roof if I made it rounded, but I'll need to try out your suggestion. I appreciate the idea! 🙂

Awesome work man! It's nice seeing these types of series more often. May I ask how you're recording the audio in your replay mods shots? Or are you just overlaying the audio from a seperate audio track?
@Etat7 ай бұрын
Thank you! That's a good question lol. So instead of rendering the footage through replay mod, I actually just use obs to record the through the playback feature on replay mod. I set all my keyframes, then click the playback button, then as soon as it starts showing my replay shot I click F1 to turn off the HUD (all while recording on obs). I feel like I did such a bad job at explaining it 😅 if you need more help, let me know and I will gladly help 🙂
@Shouhi7 ай бұрын
@@Etat Ah no, I've done it that way before and just thought maybe there was a better way :P definitely beats trying to sync the audio from a seperate recording. Appreciate the insight!
