Hey Coach quick question , what are the duties of the strong side or field side corner in match 3 coverage vs 3x1 sets? Also, is buzzing the safeties idea for that situation? Thank you kindly.

Coach, would you play 6 Thumbs against an in-line TE (rather than Y off) with a Flanker (2x2) as well? Thanks!

Yes, any 2x2, & you will rotate weak (Thumbs) as a base.

Concerned about down safety "carrying all of 2 up (and out)" with outside leverage...

@@billycougar3378 If it was Quarters, he'd still have an outside leverage. The divider rules tell him to be outside, especially with an in-line TE. You also have vertical support from the hook player inside.
