The Ashokan Center's Lower Campus site, 08/28/22

The Lower Campus site is where buildings of SUNY Ashokan Field Campus stood and original venue of the Ashokan Fiddle and Dance Camps. After the transfer of the Campus to The Ashokan Foundation in 2008, new buildings were gradually constructed, and the lower campus building were removed to allow the release of water from the Ashokan reservoir.
The SUNY Buildings may be gone but both the memories and good vibe of the place remains.
However, since I first step foot on the grounds of The Ashokan Center in 2016, part of me wished I could have experienced the magic of the place when the Lower Campus was standing.
