Thank you for review, I have AirRunner and really like a quality of assault equipment (except the screen), looking forward to buy a rower, but would like to hear a sound, and how noisy it’s?
@hardwickcarl4 жыл бұрын
Its def 10-20% louder than the c2. Has an AirBike sound, but a little "smoother" sound

@@hardwickcarl I saw your training video, pretty laud, but it’s will be ok in my basement and I hope it’s good quality machine, there is not a lot of review about it Thank you Carl!

Thanks for the info! Looks like I'll be sticking to my C2. Hopefully both can get some good upgrades in the near future.

Thank you for the video… I’m still stuck between this and the c2.. I have used rowers in the passed, but haven’t tried the assault nor c2.

Freaking best feedback. Especially since I am considering buying 4 of these rowers. Great job on this video. They owe you!

good review. My gym has 2 of these; I have a c2 at home. I do like the feel and rowing experience on this, did not miss the damper. I seem to row about a 2:08-2:10 for 500m and was doing that on this and also at home, with pretty much the same perceived effort. I like the monitor on the c2 much better. I found it easy to configure this to do 1000m, but then it seemed like I had to hold down the + or up arrow to get to 2000m which is annoying. C2 makes it easy to find the 2000m row. Given the general similarity, I'm not sure why someone would pay more for this rower, but I do think it's a good product.

if the assault rower was on sale for 600 which would you pick? It seems the only thing I will miss out on is the bluetooth/3rd party app support?
@monkeyb1820 Жыл бұрын
@@MrChadLedford Weird, I thought I responded but I don't see it. 600 is a good price. If you got tired of it, you could probably sell for 350-400 or so with no problem. I found the assault to be really sturdy, good quality, more comfy seat than my c2. The 'feel' is pretty much the same as my standard c2 setting of around 5/6 damper. So if you just want the exercise and health benefits and don't mind that the times on the assault are not the 'official standard', I'd say go for it. IMO, Assault had to drop to around 600 to make it more of a 'tossup' sort of choice.

Thanks for this review, maybe you or someone else could do a review on the new "pro" model?

Since this doesn't have a damper setting, what is the unique resistance factor in this machine? It feels like lighter than water.

I just recently got one of these and I'm curious to see if this is the same for anyone else... the chain looks like it's twisting inside mine and I'm assuming that's not how it's supposed to be

this does make some noise, but c2 is louder.

I just ordered Assault Runner and classic bike and now looking at Horizon Oxford 6 rower compared to this. Have you worked with Horizon Oxford 6 rower? I will be interested to know how the two compare. Thanks.

We have not used the Horizon Oxford 6 Rower. But we have plenty of time on the assault runner and classic bike. Both great pieces of equipment.

Where is my comment? Was it removed because I highlighted the shortcomings of the Assault Rower compared to superior C2 ?

not sure your comment ever posted...but no, we are not screening comments here

@@hardwickcarl Thanks, Carl. C2 does not rock side to side; it can creep forward at racing speed. PM4/5 screens are backlit and easy to set variable intervals. Workouts can be saved and re-rowed. Full chain and not wire. Damper settings 0-10 at any interval between and drag factor display to match your home machine to a gym C2. Many cushions for seat available. Display folds and the C2 also folds in half for storage. Have had mine for ten years (9,000,000 metres) and not a single problem. Links to HR monitors ANT+ and Bluetooth, and to Concept Ergdata. As you gathered, I swear by my rower ...
@1TUFZUK4 жыл бұрын
Just from first glance, here are my problems with this for the price. No adjustable difficulty setting, how will you clean the dust from the fan blades as it looks completely contained, the top post thing doesn't fold down for somebody who might want to watch their TV on the TV console.

Does rowing slim your thighs?
@OPEXFitness2 жыл бұрын
Hi! thanks for the question. As with every exercise/fitness program it will depend on the individual - how they move, fuel, sleep, and think... To "slim" the body, you will need to address body composition globally and more specifically body fat percentage, then align lifestyle and exercise habits to support that goal! Rowing can be a great aerobic support in a full body resistance program to support weight loss and/or vitality!
