It took me a minute to figure out where I knew Bishop Jones from. He preached at a church I was a member of in the past. Bishop Jakes told NO LIE when he said he remembered his message because that was easily 15-20yrs ago I seen this Man of God preach & I still remember it did something to my soul!!! I've been feeling apathetic, while in the midst of changing my life at 66 years old (in July) because of the external pressures to this life shift. Working on my Masters, at JAKES Divinity School, isn't as challenging from the schoolwork perspective, but my lack of personal preparation, financially, has created a struggle that was unanticipated. So this sermon, stirred my soul, to remind me that God's delayed promise, is not the denial I've been speaking to myself. I have been in battle with myself. Thank you, Bishop Jones. I believe I'll run on and see what the end will be. Not by my might ... but by HIS WILL as promised to me.
