The Astrolabe, DT project Zuri Designs

In 2021, I started special projects using resin and moulds from Zuri Designs. I love using their moulds, especially Angel Blues, Ornate Elephant, Alice’s Keys and Owl Tales. For this project, I created a piece featuring The Astrolabe, the sun and the moon from Lil bit of everything mould in a cosmic setting called “Line of faith”, you can see the Astrolabe arrow lense it reads its translation “Ligne de foy” in French.
The astrolabe is the main focus. It’s an ancient tool used for exploring the stars, and I made it with lots of detail to show its beauty and complexity.
Next, I made the sun and the moon. The sun is bright and colorful depicted as a female, while the moon has a soft bluish glow depicted as the man. Together, they look like they’re dancing in the sky.
The background is a swirling mix of blues, oranges and purples, filled with tiny stars and distant galaxies. It makes the whole piece feel like it’s out in the universe!
I loved working on this project because it combines my love for art and my fascination with the stars. Each part, from the detailed astrolabe to the glowing sun and moon, reflects my passion and creativity. Happy Creations!
