The Astronomy and Astrology of Saturn Appearing Ringless - Starting July 2024 to late 2025

Saturn appears ringless from Earth's perspective every 13 to 16 years, and we are now entering this experience as of July 2024. Astronomically, Earth is starting to look at Saturn's ring-edge face on, which will be more exact in March 2025 and November 2025. This last occurred in 2009, and previously in 1994 and 1995. Astrologically, this is quite fascinating with how it matches up with Saturn's transit through Pisces the sign of endings, dissolution, and completions. Thanks for doing the retrospect. Back in 2009, I had a whirlwind relationship that ended abruptly with big emotions involved and a move out. I’m not sure what happened exactly in 1994 for me, but I was likely a young child sad at my parents about their relationship affecting our ability to play. All the Saturn and Neptune Pisces close out energy is certainly a big challenge for me to move through, involving disappointments and disillusion. I am hoping something better will come out on the other side of it all. 💜

It's so interesting that the rings look invisible in Pisces, the sign of no boundaries?! I see it as just another way Saturn tests us, by making boundaries disappear for a time just to see what we do with it, no rules can bring out the ones who don't apply their own personal boundaries and cross the invisible ones when they weren't meant to. The timing is weirdly perfect in my life since I had restriction lifted during the 2 Capricorn Full Moons, just in time for new moon in Leo conjunct my Saturn placement (new Leo energy opening for me for 1st time at age 47 when my Progressed Scorpio sun now at critical 29th degree of Sagittarius, moving into Capricorn when I turn 48 in November!). This is very interesting Molly. I am an Aries rising/sun with Saturn on my AC. Also Pluto has been squaring my sun. So I have had some pretty heavy stuff going on internally and externally. But as of late I feel like this heavy cloud has lifted and I can finally see some light.
