We have never enforced anyone into ijaw that's what you guys don't know. If the people say they're not ijaw you'll hear them out just like the way we ijaws are saying we are not Igbos that's just it and we haven't gone into any community forcing them?? Instead communities are coming tracing their roots back travel and ask indigenous people of any community you think we enforced to be ijaw and ask them. @@KachiAmobi rejuvenating what? Now let me tell you. The ijaw are the oldest indigenous ethnicity in Nigeria and one of the oldest in the world. The ijaw people including okrika people traded slaves then of which Igbo people were included. The okrika people later went on to marry the female slaves upon granting freedom, that is where the Igbo has traces to Okrika. King jaja of opobo was an Igbo slave that gained freedom. Don’t go about spreading misinformation that Okrika people originated from Igbo tribe that is utter nonsense. If there are Igbo words in Okrika language you can trace that to the civil war where the Igbos forced Port harcourt as their territory and capital of Biafra. Please, damaging someone’s ethnicity is not proper. Refrain from doing so.
