I had a 2018 SQ5, fully loaded. This generation of Q5 is made in Mexico, not Germany and the quality difference is extremely noticeable. Creaks and cracking sounds everywhere in the interior, more issues in 10k miles than any of my other Audisz

What about the 2020

Is it? I had a '18 Q5. Assembled in Mexico, but engine and transmission was assembled Germany, and a few other parts elsewhere in Europe. I thought it was solid, never had issues. Mind you, got rid of it and picked up '22 RS3. Those are luckily 100% made in Ingolstadt

My dad has one of these, they’re a lot of fun and very quiet inside in terms of road noise. His lease ends soon, so I’m thinking of buying it out to have as a daily driver :)

Bad ass car!! But this is exactly why I would never buy a used sports car because people are launching them... I would finance a new one instead.

It's the maintenance that is ridiculously expensive...

No, it's cheap and around the same as a Q5. It's the RS model that will take your life away.
