I think the problem is that those people who are being jokingly toxic cross the invisible line of it being appropriate and take it too far and make it normal to be toxic as a joke which is not funny anymore and just overplayed and lame. People need to learn social intricacies but that's asking too much of an average low IQ sheep always going with the crowd regardless if that crowd is good or not. It is what it is. Its like a bunch of junkies ganging together. They might know they are doing the wrong thing but they can't stop.
