thanks Paul... i like to think you don't need all that expensive machinery ...i imagine what i want to build and then make it up as i go using what i can get hold of cheaply but is still cool

@@oakswamp that’s a good way of doing things.

Lots of hi-tech machining in there as well as the usual applications of the Birmingham Screwdriver. Looking good. It's going to be interesting to see this in the flesh (or iron) one day.

Enjoying seeing things done the low tech way. Looking forward to the next episode. Great to see you make use of bits from other things... After over a year of ill health its made me itch to get the tarp off my project and get cracking again - Bentley V8 powered Rover P4.

Your ideas are getting more ingenious as the weeks go on! I can see that the linkages for the breaks and clutch are going to need some fettling, I love the way you reuse and have a go attitude, also love the mockup engineering with a plan to make good later, means the project moves along fast. I see 2.75k subscribers now, we’ll done!

cutting the chassis mean's it need's an IVA test here in the UK where as if you's left the chassis alone you could get away with keeping the number plate and not re registering it

Loving the build - one thing to consider with the clutch arrangement, if they are right next to each other is there a risk of them binding up? Maybe some arrangement with a bearing on the pedal pin running in a channel on the bell housing input?

all four, im having to build in some compensation between the front and the rear.....interesting stuff

Will you have a way to adjust brake balance fir the foot brake? I guess there is going to be very little rear end weight.
@stuartsturgess21992 жыл бұрын
@@Lost13mm I bet he could figure out a way to give more leverage slightly to the front as the balance should be 75% front 25% rear
