'the Austin ten special 'Rat' ....part forty something

welcome to part forty something ...in the continued shaking down of 'the Rat' I have a shimmy on the front axle that needs looking at ...as its the darker and gloomier weather i fit a single head lamp for daytime running, I also attack the problem of remote gear linkage and reverse ...all to the sounds of the delectable Drop jaw john.... dropjawjohn.bandcamp.com

The rat is the most aesthetically perfect, minimally and functionally performing automotive creation a low-budget individual builder has ever made (my opinion of course). The only bad part is that it will be near impossible to match, let alone best, in future creations.

Shock mounts always break on cars with (modified) solid axle front ends. Car looks to be holding up well. Keep goin' Daddy O,,,,,Izzy Strong,,,,

I had a similar problem on one of my hot rods and moved that wheel to the rear and the shake is not noticable now .
