Experiencing first hand what goes into charcoal burning and trying to understand the techniques, the challenges of the job.
.We hope with this series, to inspire people to support local businesses and for the world to see how hardworking, dedicated, warm hearted and friendly the Ugandan people are.
.What are the challenges everyday Ugandans face and how do they manage to keep that incredible warm, cheerful and determined spirit?
I am staying in Ugandan and am trying to bring support, exposure and international recognition to local businesses and Uganda as a whole.

"Ask what u can do 4 ur country, not what ur country can do 4 u." Great speech by JF Kennedy. Thank u Mint Dee for the interest that u have shown in the Ugandan locals (wanainchi), especially their livelihoods. Bless u.

This is very interesting. In Europe we had charcoal burners before coal was discovered and also after as charcoal was used for all sorts of purposes. I think a similar technique of 'cook' mounds was used.
