Guiding light.... So many people didn't have their family when they had recently passed...... I still have a hard time understanding how that was ever allowed. I'm still mad that loved ones weren't spending their final days with their families. This song reminds me of being isolated and thinking about people who were dying alone. APOLITICAL. Love this song on the album, it is my worlds colliding! I’ve been a fan of The Avalanches since their El Producto EP and being a guest on 2SER while I lived in Sydney and now in the DFW area as a follower of all things space you add this space themed spiritual song with a Fort Worth Native Leon Bridges singing. This whole album has been a great comfort dealing with loss a few times this last few years. Thanks for making it and I can’t wait for your next one, I just hope it’s a little more upbeat as I’ve had enough loss .
