I think they should’ve said that Thor’s mom was a human who was serving as the avatar for both Gaia AND the Phoenix Force due to some threat out there (possibly a rogue Celestial or something). That way, they could explain the inconsistency and leave the door open for Thor to get new powers later. Also, I think Black Panther with the Phoenix Force would be AMAZING (and im partially convinced he would vaporize most of Atlantis similar to how Namor flooded Wakanda)

Shang Chi knows every fighting style in the world. He is the master of kung fu but its not like he doesn't know Muay Thai, Krav Maga, Jiu Jitsu, etc. He is certainly a better hand to hand fighter than Captain America, though Cap is still top 3 in Marvel. Shang Chi is the best hand to hand fighter in the marvel universe

Only real downside is that Shang chi only can use his chi power in one dimension and other than the 10 rings doesn’t really have super powers so even hero’s without much training but a ton of hacks and abilities could probably body him the rings are a major balancer though

@@MementoMori1000 I get that, but remember. Shang-Chi is so good at martial arts that his skill IS considered a superpower. Plus, with the five weapons society now, he has a lot more weapons, money and resources at his disposal. the 10 rings are probably enough for him to deal with most threats at that level. I'd say that Shang-Chi can defeat somewhat well trained characters with hax like Hawkeye or Black Widow(if he can avoid her symbiote).

I'm thinking the Phoenix Force has seen more than a few styles/abilities over the eons it/she has existed. If it can imbue this host with ALL of that knowledge and experience, you're talking about one badass fighter who might not be able to be handled via melee or ranged. At that point it's magic or maaaaybe some sorta F4/Doom/Stark tech that takes them out.

Rob ive been watching you since waaaay back before you got big and i want to know if you would consider making your own comic with completely new charicters the works....you have the resources and connections im sure to do something small to start out with...like the greats did back when your perspective on the comic world in general tells me you would do it right and even down the road never compremise on quality...you can do it digital....find really awesom voice actors....dope new age animators with new and differet styles that havnt been done yet....if youve done this and ive somehow missed it i appologize....i mean it more of a complement to you....

Fan theory idea- The Phoenix and Gia are one in the same, or at least two sides of the same being. Gia represents life ability to flourish and grow, where The Phoenix is the destructive aspect but also represents life's endurance to come back from destruction. Hell, could even do a Kami/King Piccolo thing where they were once one but split because the original was too at odds with its self.

"What if" 2 versions of the same character each from different parallel universes, battled in this story, one had the full phenix force, the other had the uni power (captain universe) ? That was a lot of hoops and hallah for the writer to have Phoenix to abruptly say its Echo, I choose you. I agree it would be amazing for Galactus to recall Galan's era and say this is a technique long past just one shots someone. Some wise crack about it being a round house kick (it was 64 in a continuous cycle, who distracts with that many Jean Claude Van Dam in Blood Sport). Watching this I thought Black Panther would be ideal of a role for Micheal Jai White. Disney does not make smart moves anymore for its bought properties.
