When I was 40 years old, we went on vacation to North Georgia. It was there that I got my first (and last) tattoo in Helen, Georgia. The guy was listening to the Avetts while working on me, and Swept Away came on. "Who is THAT???" He said its a local group, just a couple of brothers. It was that day that I became obsessed with them. The talent, the variety, the depth, the enthusiasm... Here I am now, 58 years old and still like a little kid when i find something new from them. The sentiment i feel when listening makes tears flow. Avett Brothers... thanks to all of you for your passion. You have been worth so much to me. ❤
