It seems like this theory forgets Blackbeard was a weird human long before he consumed the fruit. He basically got the fruit at the same time luffy was in alabasta.

Even if this isn't completely true, but Blackbeard's fruit does carry more significance than presented, it may have been the means by which history was altered. It could've swallowed up points in history, whole time periods!
