I think this relates more on the side of an ae85 because of the rolly suspension and SOHC engine and the gauges.

Interesting, I don't know much about these specific cars to know what's different between both of them personally. It's not really a car I favour. But it's always nice to learn new things.

@@midnightmeghd Ah, the basic differences are the ae85 is a budget friendly car and the ae86 was marketed to be sportier. The ae86 had about 135hp and the ae85 had about 80-ish hp

I honestly have no clue, mate. There probably is other sources out there but they can be risky or not even work with the game due to the mod possibly being out of date.

sucks the mod is removed, but i think its broke anyway one of my friends has it (he wouldnt give me it) and he said it use to work but now when he uses it it makes a horrific monstrosity of a blend of the satsuma and the ae86

The whole reason for it's removal was it practically contained the whole game for just one vehicle mod. I'm assuming the creator didn't know how to pack it into a .dll or a unity3d file. And the "blend" of the two cars, I know what you mean. It happened to me when the game next updated.

It was basically browsing through a mod site as I sometimes do and this looked fairly decent. So as usual, I thought I'd review it. It was pretty good for how long it lasted from what I can remember.

Best thing to do is reinstall your game as this comes mixed with the files. This won't affect your save state.

This car with a single cam engine looks like AE85, not AE86, which by the way would be more suited to my sammuer car. 😀

Interesting how similar both models are to each other! I actually agree that the AE85 would suit 1995 Finland better but still a gorgeous car regardless.I just hope the mod gets put back on Nexus so every one can use it. Since the game updated, I can't even use it anymore. We'll have to keep fingers crossed! :D

@@midnightmeghd They are practically the same cars. AE86 is the GTI version AE85 (like a Vw Golf and Golf GTI). Better engine (4A-GE vs 3A-U), better suspension, brakes, LSD etc.

I don't think the AE85 was sold in Europe. To my knowledge, all Corolla GTs had the twin-cam 4A-GE.

It's been taken down because the mod contained the whole game basically. It wasn't just a simple "Drag and drop into the mods folder" as most mods are. I'm surprised the author hasn't made it into the modern format for mods yet.

It was a replace. Basically overwriting the mesh files of the Satsuma. The mod was only pulled due to it containing all of the game files.

Lucas French Engine-wise, yes. It takes the same engine model as it always does. But body customisation had a few issues. I didnt really customise it, I just reviewed the car.

I can only assume, but I think there might have been some copyright conflicts with either the actual car name being used on the mod site or the copyright of the model being used from another game, meaning an illegal port to MSC. That's what I can think of. But custom wheels for it would have been cool with it. :)
