You're completetely right. In ERC for example, you get to see 10-15 4x4 Skoda Fabias R5 in a row, marginally faster than Ilmo and his M3... but which is more exiting to watch...?!

Nice to see you here! I think I should do more of these kind of compilations at some point. Ilmo Lario is a bit of a legend here so he was a good start. Probably will do one make vids, best of particular type of cars action.

My Samsung tablet is resonating to the raucous howling of that outrageous in-line four cylinder motor. .it has just a touch of the S1 Audi about it but without the popping and flamethrower exhaust. It does seem to perform extremely well though, on that icy, slippery surface. It was good to feature just the one car over a demanding event. . .I must admit that I much prefer this sound to that of the contempory Polo's, C3's and i20's.

Kr Dz That's a fiesty specification . . . I am also impressed to see the Beemas attack a hillclimb. . . their drifting, writhing, snarling antics are a lot of fun. Here in Australia, these cars are for the wealthier in the community, and they don't usually attract the attention of the dedicated revhead. . .not only that, parts are expensive. Until recently, we have been a big six and V8 loving country when it came to highly modified cars. We won't have a car manufacturing industry here at all in the very near future, with GMH, FORD, and Toyota all closing their factories. I am guessing that all these big sixes and V8's are going to look pretty attractive down the track. . they can be extremely quick and very strong for our tough conditions. Ford put out a 4 litre, turbo straight six, that is blindingly fast and powerful. . .probably should buy one before they are too hard to get.

The loud howling sound has also been a tricky one to capture cleanly. Its such a sharp sound when the car passes :D
