The second world war was defined by large scale battles and massive campaigns, but the most famous scenes would not be possible without the efforts of those doing the jobs to fill the gaps, turning the wheels of war. For those efforts, the B-25 and PBJ Mitchells were ready to take flight. When dangerous enemies were setup in dangerous places, the Mitchell was eager to fly dangerously to face the threat and make a statement out of them. There was nowhere the Axis powers could hide from the ravenous audacity of those who crewed the B-25.

About 2 years ago, I was in a night class in college when I read an article stating all the Doolittle Raiders had passed away. I had been tossing around the idea of doing aviation history on KZbin for a while then, but that gave me the final push to set up this channel. I wanted to share great stories of history and captivate listeners with stories of the sky. Their story seems like something that would be written into a hilariously unrealistic universe, and yet it was done by people like you and me. I'm telling you this story so their feats performed years ago can amaze and inspire people today in a way it may never have been heard before. If you're here reading this: You've helped me achieve this goal. Thank you.
