Kate is one of those few singers that will just sing ANY song at studio quality at ANY time - recently I've heard her do a solo-rendition of her duet with Iggy Pop, "Candy", and she just rocked BOTH vocal parts with absolute perfection - and her part on that song is quite demanding, mind you. She's a real force of nature. And while Cindy's vocals sometimes falter (her vocal style has always been more abrasive than Kate's, which takes its toll, plus there have been lengthy periods in which she took a break from performing - first in the eighties, after her brother's death, then in the mid-nineties, after the birth of her child) she's really great in this performance.
