What a shame... the generation that built it changed and everything was abandoned, this season is beautiful 🚆🚂

It's usually like that in every city, town and state so it seems...I miss old architecture! the way they build now is not even close to the pride they had back then. Thanks again for watching!

When I was a kid, I caught the train from here to Pittsburgh to visit my Grandparents. I took the train on a baseball excursion to Cleveland Municipal Stadium to see the Indians and Yankees. I remember the steam engines that used this stadium.

Also this video inspired me to get off my ass walked the river trail yesterday and picked up 2 kitchen sized garbage bags full of trash. I'm also gonna head down there with weed whacker and chainsaw in the next coming weeks little by little gonna try to clean that trail up so more people can enjoy the river. Maybe it won't be so sketchy looking then.

I’m getting married at the B&O Station in September next year. I grew up in the area and used to spend a lot of time going to events at that venue and going to the bar next door that was owned by the same couple for a few years. I’ve always thought this place was such a gem. The owners are extremely nice and inviting, why not ask if you can do a tour inside or just interview them about the building?

Hey thanks for watching and commenting!! and congratulations! Indeed, it is a remarkable building, I also grew up on the west side, so remember the building well. I loved when Rust Belt Brewing was in the building, and I trust that the owners are super cool (you would have to be right? owning a piece of Ytown history) I may have to do that one day, I would love to actually look around in detail and also find out about the back of the building. thanks for watching!!

@@everydayadventureswithjim Oh yeah, they’re very cool! When I toured, I got to see the tunnel room and some other historic parts of the building. Definitely worth asking!

suggestion...bring together the government of three cities...and do a restoration in about 10 wagons and do regional tours, offering cheeses, wines, juices, during the tour

They do use this building for events, mostly weddings and seasonal craft shows. and it was a brewery at one time. My opinion is that some money should be used for restoration not so much in but on the building.

Another wonderful video. When it warms up a bit you may want to consider a video on the Hitchcock Woods trail. That's a part of Mill Creek that you haven't done a video on.

The old B&O Railroad is part of CSX. CSX is a merger of the Chessie System and Seaboard...Chessie System was a merger of the B&O, C&O and the Western Maryland Railroads in about 1963.

Huh, you are a bit cluless about the B&O from the 70's on but all in all some of your history is close.
