Thanks for the video. We are planning to book the same room (family of 3 incl. 11 yr. old) as we wanted to live close to public transit (JR loop and Midosuji Line) . Few questions before booking: 1. Is the area safe?? I am slightly worried about that bit 2. I saw your video of the walk from the subway to the hotel - looked congested but manageable - am I right to assume that? 3. Is this particular room worth it... we are choosing it as it looks spacious with that extra tatami area 4. Can we set up a tatami bed there?? Do they provide bedding? 5. Funny enough Tripadvisor doesnt have reviews for this hotel. Any more suggestions? Any tips / trick? Looking forward to your kind reply.

@@aayushrivastava Hello! 1. Yes, it is safe and I haven’t heard any news here in Japan about Shinsekai being unsafe for tourists. 2. Shinsekai is a retro downtown of Osaka. Those alleyways that you have watched are dining, shopping and entertainment district of locals. You’re right, it is congested but most likely after working hours, like I said it is entertainment district of laborers/workers. 3. As you mentioned above, you are a family of 3 including an 11 yr old kid-this room is even spacious for 4 adults because of the tatami room. 4. Yes, I think they can set up an extra bed or could be a futon in the tatami room. Like any other hotels, there’s a surcharge for that. 5.Really?Probably because it’s relatively new🤔 I got this hotel rate from Expedia app. You can also book through their website they offer cheaper rates without meals. I hope you’ll have a great time in Japan. Thanks for watching!🤗

Hello, magtatanong lang po ako, first time to visit Osaka coming from Canada. Kumusta po ba ang ambiance ng neighborhood dito sa hotel, are the locals and business caters and friendly to foreigners who speak no Japanese? How is your stay po? Are the rooms well maintained? Maraming salamat po.

Hello!🤗 This hotel is relatively new, yun nga lang like most hotels in Japan medyo maliit ang rooms and marami rin naman foreigners ang nag stay sa hotel na to. Shinsekai is an old neighborhood / retro downtown of southern Osaka so expect na mas makaluma at karamihan mga locals andon but marami rin pumupunta foreigners. If you’re planning to explore Dotonbori, malayo ang hotel na to sa Namba, Dotonbori. If you’re concerned about the restaurants, usually may English translation yung mga menu nila. Try using google translate too, for some basic japanese conversation☺️ I hope you’ll have a great time in Japan😊
